Greetings, 

For me personally, the VFW fulfills something that I didn’t even know I was missing after I left the service; the camaraderie, and the sense of brotherhood. There’s something about being in a room with a bunch of fellow servicemen and women, and being able to tell stories that transcend age differences. Knowing that they have similar life experiences, and that now not only do I have their back, they have mine. When you couple an environment that fosters a sense of belonging together with the VFW mission, being able to accomplish what we do for our fellow vets, it makes me proud to say that I am a lifetime member of the VFW.
